Harborough AC is affiliated to
UK Athletics and exists to provide local athletes with club
companionship and the opportunity to take part in many
athletic events including track and field, road running,
cross-county, triathlons and other athletic events.
Annual membership runs from September to September and is currently
£35 for competing seniors(18 and over), £25 for non-competing members(only run on club nights but do not compete) and £20 for juniors and full time students.
Cheques should be made payable to Harborough A.C. If you wish to apply for a ‘Hardship rate’ then you must apply by letter to the committee each year, in advance of competition. If you have been in receipt of any income-based benefits for at least 6 months you may apply for a reduction upon proof of the benefit in payment.
Apart from the general camaraderie to be gained from belonging to a club, this entitles you to subsidised race entry fees.
Weekly subscriptions of £1 are collected on a Tuesday
evening to cover hire of the Leisure Centre, showers etc. They
are similarly collected on Monday nights from junior members.
