On a glorious mid-May day, a large contingent of Harborough AC runners took to the hills around Kelmarsh Hall for the annual Marie Curie Great Daffodil Run. In a field of just under 1,000 runners, the Harborough men were headed home by Scott Speller in just under 41 minutes, while the ladies' challenge was spearheaded in superb fashion by Hannah Eveleigh, who was the first women overall, in 40 minutes 49seconds, marking a tremendous show of form from Eveleigh in hot conditions. After her press commitments(!!), Hannah then took her place on the start line for the 'Dash' race.
