Harborough Town FC v Leicester City FC

On sunday August 16th, a Harborough Town Veterans team will take on the might of a Leicester City Legends side in a one-off charity football match, raising money in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust and LOROS. The match will kick-off at 2pm, with gates opening at 12:30pm.

The event is to be held at the brand-new Club facilities at newly named ground Bowden's Park, Northampton Road, Market Harborough, Leics, LE16 9HF.

It is hoped that ths will become an annual event in the Clubs fixture list as an opening to the season whilst raising monies for Charity.

The Club extends an invite to all to come and view this spectacle and, whilst sampling the hospitality of its new surroundings, watch some of the players of yesteryear including : Muzzy Izzett, Steve Walsh, Gerry Taggart, Paul Ramsey, Ali Mauchlen, Julian Joachim, Gary Mills, Phil Gilchrist, Matt Elliott, Gary McAllister and Austin Healey. Guests to also include Dave Phillips and Micky Ginn displaying their talents.

The Legends will be supplying signed memorabilia and will be available for Team and individual photo opportunities before and after the game.

There will be a raffle with two signed shirts, together with other goodies.

Licensed Bar/ Refreshments available throughout the day.

Tickets for the day are priced at £3 for adults, and £1 for OAPs and Children under 16.
