Message from the Cross Country Captain

Dear Runners,

It's that time of year again and the cross country season is upon us -- a great opportunity for fun in the mud (though admittedly there's not too much of that around right now).

If you've never done cross country before don't worry -- there's always a wide range of ages and abilities joining in, just like a road race. So do come along and help fly the flag for Harborough AC in our 25th year.

Last year we had some notable successes, with team medals at county level and the women winning the Midlands Relays -- a great achievement for a small club like us, which just shows what can be achieved if we get our people out racing.

This year we really want to focus on the County Championships, so get this date in your diary now: Saturday 9th January 2010, just up the road at Wigston.

Any questions about cross country please just ask.

See you on the grass,

Will Clapp
Cross Country Captain
