Dragons Back Race
The toughest mountain race in the world this year ran in temperatures hovering around 30c saw our own Tom Richardson come in 13th place (9th in the senior men category). Tom’s time was 65 hours 53 mins and 37 seconds over a 236 mile route covered in 6 days which many of us followed during the week on Facebook. With a total height gain of 17400ft thrown in its an event that deserves its billing for toughness. I cant find any superlatives to describe Tom’s achievement so I will just pass on all our congratulations to him on his result and magnificent endeavour. Amazing stuff!
