Halloween 1 Mile Relay – Results

Well done to all the runners who took part in the Halloween 1 Mile Relay. Conditions, particularly for the last two races were less than ideal, but everyone turned up on time which was great. A big thanks to Beth, Judy, Martin, Katy and Pete who braved the elements to help run the event, along with the master of ceremonies Dave.

Team F narrowly took the team prize, congratulations to Fleur Starcevic, Tom Hayes, Katy Sparrow, Natalie Rowland, Nick Osborne & Ray Lack.

Amazingly Garry Hodgkins managed to get lost, even after checking out the route beforehand. Ash Cartwright and Sarah Ward ran the fastest male and female times respectively.

Age adjusted times make for very interesting reading, which converts the time ran, to an equivalent time for someone in their mid-twenties to early thirties. Here we saw Tom Ranger and Jaquie Hanmer come out on top. There were some outstanding performances throughout the field, with Ray Lack running sub 8 minutes at 73 being the stand out.
