Harborough AC’s New Home at the Market Harborough Rugby Club

We’re delighted to announce that from 29th June both seniors and juniors will have a new home at Market Harborough Rugby Union Football Club on Northampton Road. The rugby club will be the base for our senior training night on Tuesdays all year round and for our junior nights from April to September, relocating to the leisure centre for winter training.

This is an exciting point in the club’s history as we’ll be able to enjoy the benefits of the shared facilities. Changing rooms and showers will be available on training nights, whilst we’ll also have access to the clubhouse, bar and physio facilities. The rugby club will be marking out a grass running straight that both junior and senior groups can use during the summer months and we’re actively looking at more ways to expand our athletics facilities further.

We plan to kick off with training on the same night for juniors and seniors on Tuesday 29th June so that’s a date not to miss! The juniors will start at 6.00pm and the seniors at 6.45pm. Our new friends at the rugby club have been working hard with us in recent weeks to make this happen and we’re sure they’ll give us a warm welcome on the opening night and beyond.
