Records Galore and UK No 1’s
Congratulations to Pam Hilliam who is now ranked No 1 in the UK in her age group VF75 at 3 distances 100m, 200m, & 3000m. Whilst not many of us reach the stage when we can run under this category, very few runners get to hold multiple No 1’s. A fantastic achievement.
Other recent records to have been set include:
- Sarah Ward broke her own club 3000m all time record with 10:29.24.
- Adam Barber was 4th in the U20 county championship 3000m with 8:54.26 updating his own U20 record.
- Maria Shaw set a new club record in the VF40 category for 800M with 2:32:48.
- Jill Roginski has set new club records at 100m, 80m hurdles and 300m hurdles in the VF60 category.
- Finally Steve King has been busy at 5000m and 10000m setting new club records in the VM55 category.
