The Grimsthorpe Gallopers from Harborough AC

Congratulations to our runners for their performances at the Grimsthorpe Gallops. The event had 10km, 10mile and half marathon options, in the lovely setting of the castle grounds, paths, trails and water splash. Always a grippy rolling course, made a harder in the heat & sunshine.

At the 10 mile distance, Steve King was 5th overall and 1st in the V50 category with a time of 1:11:52

And at the Half Marathon distance, Kenny Anderson was 23rd in a time of 1:49:46

If you fancy giving it a go next year, take note of Steve’s advise. Don’t wear yellow as it attracts thousands of bugs at this event.
