An event affected by the recent restrictions has been the Round Harborough Relay (RHR) and we’re pleased to report that it finally took place on Tuesday 14th June 2022, with just over 40 taking part on a perfect summers evening.
Congratulations to the winning team of Hazel O’Connell, Christine Barrett, Sarah Goode, Ashley Wright, Richard Hudson, and Ursula Stevens. Ursula’s sprint finish against Madeline Stevens on the final leg 6 was the highlight of the night for me!
The team will be awarded the Nev Brooks Memorial Trophy who this event remembers. It was great to see Nev’s family members at the event.
Special thanks to Graeme for organising the race. We hope that everyone who came along to take part, help or watch enjoyed the opportunity to get together and socialise with a burger and a pint afterwards to round off a good night.
